Cut shortening into the flour.
Make sure the shortening is cold so
it will incorporate nicely. Add sugar.
Add milk and eggs alternately and beat
with electric mixer until well blended.
Add vanilla and mix well.
This will make a two 9" layer cake or one
rectangle cake. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
