Morning: In My Eyes
The joy of morning I awake to see
The sun rising slowly taking a peek at me.
Its glorious rays from earth to sky,
Winks softly at me as it starts to rise.
The morning sun's glisten
tells me the day has begun,
The warmth of the sun can be felt by one.
When evening appears and the sun's sinking low
It gives out the most beautiful
shades of color and glow.
If ever you could paint what your eye beholds
It would surely be worth more than silver or gold!
